Quality in Research

Clinical and biomedical research encompasses heavy responsibility for generating research results. These research results are normally transferred in the medium-term to medical care.

Research Integrity and compliance with good scientific practice are essential requirements and sureties for good quality research.

Since the publication of the Lancet series "Increasing value, reducing waste" in January of 2014, there is increasing discussion on reliability and quality of research results in the biomedical community.

With the following notes and events we would like to increase awareness of research quality and call attention to guidelines and initiatives.
