Information on Research Operations

Research operations at the Medical Faculty should be maintained as far as possible during the corona pandemic. For all research work in the laboratory (both in buildings of the University and in buildings of the Medical Center), the SARS-CoV-2 University Hygiene Regulations (version 7 as of 24.11.2021) of the University apply. A hygiene plan provides students and employees with a compact overview of the protective measures that apply at the University of Freiburg at each of the basic, alert and alarm levels. For research involving patient contact, however, the regulations of the Medical Center apply (access only within the Medical Center).

The regulations of the University are based on the Corona Verordnung issued by the State of Baden-Württemberg.
