Clinical and biomedical research share a great responsibility for generating scientific knowledge that is usually transferred to patient care in the medium term.

Scientific honesty and compliance with the principles of good scientific practice are indispensable prerequisites and guarantors of good quality in research.

Since the series "Increasing value, reducing waste" published in the Lancet in January 2014, there has been intensive discussion about the reliability and qualitative basis of scientific results in biomedicine. You can find the series in Lancet here .
