Curriculum of the Lecture Series "From Bench to Bedside and Back - Understanding Translation"

The Lecture Series: “From Bench to Bedside and Back – Understanding Translation” is a newly-launched lecture series offered by the EQUIP (Education and Qualification for Postdocs) Program of the Faculty of Medicine in collaboration with the Clinical Trials Unit of the Medical Center - University of Freiburg and aims to promote translational research at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Freiburg. The lectures provide important basic knowledge about translation and are relevant and interesting for Medical Scientists and Clinician Scientists of the faculty. In the process of putting together the contents of the curriculum, special attention was paid to ensure that the two-way complementary dynamics (from bench to bedside and back) of translation is covered. As a result, a curriculum of the lecture series comprising six lectures has been developed (see Figure 1).
