Sabine-von-Kleist Habilitation Price

The Medical Faculty of the Albert-Ludwigs University has been offering the "Sabine-von-Kleist Habilitation Price" (formerly the Mathilde-Wagner Habilitation Price) for young women scientists since 2014. The price aims to honour an outstanding post-doctoral thesis by scientists from the Medical Faculty in Freiburg. It is endowed with € 10,000.

The criteria for the application are

• Publications in "high impact journals" acquired in connection with the habilitation
• Excellent scientific performance
• The focus of the habilitation on current scientific issues in the field of basic research in the pre-clinical / clinic or applied research
• The inaugural lecture should not be older than 3 years

The price money can be used for material, personnel or investments.
