Formal Applications with the Dean's/Rector's Signature

The Office of the Dean for Research is the first point of contact for researchers at the Faculty of Medicine with regards to applications and queries. All project applications that require the approval of the Rectorate are forwarded to the Science Support Centre (SSC) by the Office of the Dean for Research after prior review and consultation with the committees of the Faculty of Medicine (Faculty Board and Faculty Council).

This means that interested applicants should submit all applications from the Faculty of Medicine directly to the Office of the Dean for Research, particularly for the following funding programmes.

• DFG Collaborative Research Centres
• DFG research groups
• DFG Research Training Groups
• DFG Heisenberg Programme
• Junior professorship applications of the MWK
• Elite Programme for Postdocs of the Baden-Württemberg Foundation
• Clinician Scientist Professorships of the Else Kröner-Fresenius Foundation
• CZS Wildcard Programme of the Carl Zeiss Foundation
